
Overview
Position Title: Equity Analyst An Equity Analyst plays a crucial role in evaluating investment opportunities and providing insights that drive strategic decisions. This position demands expertise in fundamental analysis, modeling, and valuation to assess market performance effectively. The analyst will engage in research and portfolio management while collaborating with a dedicated equities team. The role offers unique challenges, particularly due to the nuances of working within a sovereign wealth fund. Responsibilities
Conduct weekly team meetings with the equities team
Perform comprehensive research
Analyze sell and buy transactions
Monitor market performance and manage portfolios
Engage in risk analysis and portfolio monitoring
Focus on North America (US/Canada) public equities
Occasionally participate in client meetings as required
Be assigned to specific teams based on experience in sectors such as healthcare, industrial, tech, or finance
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience in equity research analysis
Strong fundamental analysis, modeling, and valuation capabilities
Proficient in Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and VLOOKUPs
Familiarity with Bloomberg is required
A bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field is required
Bilingual in Korean is preferred
Experience in financials, industrials, healthcare, or tech sectors is preferred
