Responsibilities
Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and develop tailored building automation solutions
Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase features and benefits
Create and deliver compelling technical proposals and responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
Provide technical expertise and support during the sales process, addressing technical questions and resolving issues
Engage with engineering customers to gather technical requirements and position the employer's solutions as the basis of design
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience in developing, selling, or engineering building automation systems, or a High School Diploma/GED with 5+ years of relevant experience
Ability to travel up to 75% locally
Strong technical proficiency in building automation systems
Outstanding communication and presentation skills
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Controls Engineering
3+ years of design experience with engineering of building automation systems
10+ years of experience developing and engineering building automation systems
CEM, LEED AP, and WELL AP accreditation or PE certification
Knowledge of HVAC, lighting, and IT networking/integration in design and maintainability
