
Role Overview
We are looking for a seasoned
Systems & Database Lead
to oversee the architecture, security, and day-to-day health of our enterprise data environments. In this high-impact role, you will ensure our data infrastructure is high-performing, resilient, and fully aligned with our global business operations. You’ll be the primary technical owner for our
Microsoft SQL
ecosystem and our
SAP Business Intelligence (BI)
reporting stack, bridging the gap between raw data and actionable corporate insights.
Responsibilities
Infrastructure Management:
Handle the end-to-end installation, tuning, and upgrading of database environments.
Performance Engineering:
Proactively identify system bottlenecks and implement advanced SQL optimization strategies to ensure peak efficiency.
BI Platform Ownership:
Act as the lead administrator for our SAP Business Objects suite, including management of the
Central Management Console (CMC)
and
Launchpad .
Reporting Support:
Build and maintain complex data warehouses, universes ( IDT/Universe Design ), and sophisticated
Webi
dashboards.
Security & Governance:
Define and enforce user access protocols, data integrity standards, and high-level security compliance across all BI platforms.
Scaling & Planning:
Lead capacity planning initiatives and data migration projects to support long-term organizational growth.
Technical Requirements
Education:
Technical degree (BS) in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
Core DBA Expertise:
7+ years of deep-dive experience managing
SQL Server
environments (Oracle experience is also highly valued).
Cloud Proficiency:
At least 5 years of hands-on experience with
cloud-hosted database solutions
(Azure, AWS, or similar).
SAP/BI Mastery:
Proven track record supporting
SAP Business Objects
applications and enterprise reporting lifecycles.
Problem Solving:
Advanced diagnostic skills for resolving complex technical hurdles and performance issues.
