About the Position Harmony Christian Church is seeking a Worship Director who is passionate about leading the church in Christ-centered, congregational worship. This is a paid, part-time position ideal for someone who wants to serve the church bi-vocationally. The Worship Director will work collaboratively with the pastor to plan Sunday services, lead the congregation musically (preferably using guitar or piano), and organize and equip volunteer musicians. A strong candidate will be musically skilled, organized, spiritually mature, and committed to leading the congregation in a blended selection of theologically rich songs, drawing from both historic hymns and well-chosen contemporary music.
Responsibilities
Plan and lead Sunday services in collaboration with the pastor.
Direct and motivate the worship team, including volunteer musicians.
Lead the congregation musically (preferably using guitar or piano).
Organize and equip volunteer musicians and vocalists.
Curate a blended repertoire of hymns and contemporary worship songs.
Qualifications
Musically skilled
Organized and dependable
Spiritually mature
Committed to leading the congregation in a blended selection of worship songs
