Role Description Marketing

Develop and execute marketing campaigns, including thoughtful strategies and clear action plans.

Oversee the creation of professional and consistent marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, presentations, newsletters, and digital assets.

Plan and execute strategic social media campaigns aligned with analytics and brand objectives.

Define success through KPIs and track performance metrics across marketing efforts.

Update content and manage basic template-based websites (experience with Squarespace or WordPress preferred).

Experience producing and editing video and podcast content.

Public Relations

Lead and execute public relations campaigns, including media strategy and messaging development.

Draft compelling and structured content, such as public relations plans, press releases, website copy, social media posts, and project reports.

Coordinate and manage media outreach, pitch stories to journalists, and monitor press coverage and analytics.

Build and deliver client-ready presentations to executives, boards, and community stakeholders.

Events & Client Engagement

Coordinate event logistics for press conferences, grand openings, focus groups, and community engagements from planning through execution.

Project Management & Quality Control

Experience managing individuals or small teams with demonstrated autonomous leadership and training capabilities.

Conduct quality checks on all deliverables to ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment with client expectations.

Qualifications

Senior-level role requiring 5+ years of marketing and public relations experience.

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or a related field.

Strong writing and editing skills with a solid understanding of AP Style.

Proven experience managing media campaigns and established relationships with reporters.

Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and high client expectations.

Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a plus.

Strong communication and messaging skills to effectively engage audiences.

Experience in marketing strategy, campaign development, and performance analysis.

Exceptional client service and relationship-building abilities.

Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

Market research and trend analysis experience preferred.
