We are seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist
(Hybrid; based in Elgin, Illinois)
to join our growing team. The Digital Marketing Specialist will work within the Marketing team to drive growth in the HARTING Americas business. The Specialist will be responsible for helping to create and capture online demand that generates sales accepted leads and qualified pipeline – especially through the channels of marketing automation, paid social media campaigns, and organic social media marketing. With our ever-evolving industrial connectivity solutions and B2B customers in OEM and Distribution, our marketing function continues to evolve, and the Specialist will possess an innovative and forward-thinking mindset as we mature our digital marketing capabilities. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with marketers across the globe, while aligning closely with commercial teams in the Americas region. To succeed in this role, you will be highly driven to:
Assist with strategizing, planning, and building automated, triggered journeys to nurture lead prospects via MS Dynamics Marketing. Develop strategies for ongoing communication with past and current customers via new and existing digital channels (email newsletters, social media newsletters, SMS, etc.). Collaborate with segment managers, product managers, and marketing teams to write, design, and build engaging emails, landing pages, contact segments, and articles to support these journeys. Use external tools like ZoomInfo to build targeted lead contact lists for cold outbound campaigns. Conduct A/B testing and analysis, including subject line testing and creative layouts, to develop best practices for ongoing optimization of communication journeys. Help support paid social campaigns by developing engaging ad creative, assets, or content. Compile marketing performance reporting; curate trends and insights and present to marketing leadership team for tactics optimization. Grow HARTING America’s organic social media following and engagement, owning the content, creative, and channel strategy for each platform. Proactively plan and schedule HARTING America’s organic social media content, collaborating with field, product, and distribution marketers to support events, business initiatives, and product launches. Assist with marketing project management coordination: create deadlines and deliverable guidelines, define project intake and requirements, facilitate review processes, and other operations considerations. Represent the Americas region in collaboration with HARTING Global’s marketing, editorial, and social media cross-functional teams. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university in Marketing or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience (degree preferred) Benefits
HARTING USA offers an attractive total compensation package and employee benefits, including: Compensation: HARTING's Total Compensation Structure includes a Base Salary and Bonus Percentage. Competitive base salary: $60,000 - $65,000 (commensurate with experience, subject to change dependent on physical location). This role is eligible for a 5% discretionary annual bonus. Benefits: 21 days PTO (Paid Time Off) to start – quickly earn more PTO as you stick with us (36 days max).
