Customs Specialist

Established international freight forwarder operating as a licensed Freight Forwarder, NVOCC, and Customs House Broker with offices across 24 countries and a global workforce of over 3,300 employees. The business supports high-volume U.S. import and export programs through in-house brokerage teams, integrated forwarding operations, and strong compliance controls, serving multinational customers across multiple commodity sectors. Job Responsibilities: Prepare and file all U.S. customs entries including formal, informal, warehouse, and PGA filings Classify goods accurately using HTSUS and applicable duty programs Review commercial documents for compliance and accuracy prior to submission Communicate with CBP, government agencies, and internal operations teams Manage holds, exams, post-entry corrections, and amendments Ensure adherence to all U.S. customs regulations and internal compliance procedures Experience Needed: Hands-on experience as a Customs Entry Writer or Import Specialist Strong knowledge of HTS classification and U.S. entry types Familiarity with PGA requirements and compliance processes Licensed Customs Broker preferred but not required Interest in pursuing the Customs Broker License exam welcomed Apply Today: This position is being managed exclusively through our search and is not advertised on public job boards.
