Responsibilities
Proposal Strategy & Development
Develop comprehensive
proposal plans , schedules, and win strategies for assigned pursuits
Lead RFP release activities, including kickoff, execution, and end-game (“checkmate”) phases
Draft storyboards, assign proposal team roles, and manage proposal workflows
Conduct
go/no-go reviews
and facilitate official proposal kickoff meetings
Reviews, Graphics & Submittals
Perform
Pink Team reviews
and revise content based on feedback
Coordinate development of proposal graphics and visual materials
Manage final proposal production and submission activities
Support post-submittal activities, including interviews and checkmate-phase deliverables
Metrics, Contracts & Closeout
Develop and track proposal-related metrics including safety, budget, schedule, diversity goals, and community involvement
Assist with development of negotiated contract outlines
Support project closeout deliverables and documentation
Marketing & Industry Engagement
Support submittals for industry awards (e.g.,
ACEC, ENR , and trade publications)
Attend professional associations, conferences, and trade shows; assist with booth setup and networking
Perform other duties as assigned while complying with company policies and standards
Qualifications Required Skills & Experience
Required:
Bachelor's degree in
Marketing, Communications, Business Administration , or related field
(Applicable years of experience may substitute for degree requirement)
4+ years of experience in
marketing, business development, or sales
within a professional services firm
Excellent
written and verbal communication
skills
Preferred
Experience working at an
Architecture / Engineering (A/E) firm
Proficiency with
Adobe InDesign
Certified Proposal Management Professional (APMP)
or equivalent
Strong organizational and deadline-management skills
Additional:
Ability to manage multiple proposals simultaneously
Collaborative mindset with strong stakeholder engagement skills
