Pay Rate: $26.00 – $30.00 per hour
Job Description The
Proposal Coordinator
supports business development efforts by assisting with the preparation and execution of
competitive RFP responses . This role collaborates closely with business development and project management leadership to help develop proposal strategies, coordinate materials, and support submissions that enhance the company’s competitive position. This is a detail-oriented role well suited for candidates with strong writing, coordination, and marketing support skills within a professional services or engineering environment.
Responsibilities
Assist with developing and documenting
proposal plans , storyboards, and win strategies
Support proposal team coordination and proposal management planning
Participate in
go/no-go reviews
and official proposal kickoff meetings
Reviews, Graphics & Content
Assist with
Pink Team reviews
and update marketing and proposal materials based on feedback
Support development of graphics and visual content for proposals
Proofread, edit, and format proposal content to ensure clarity and consistency
Metrics, Marketing & Industry Engagement
Support development and tracking of proposal-related metrics, including
change orders, safety, budget, schedule, diversity goals, and community involvement
Attend professional association meetings, conferences, and trade shows
Assist with booth setup and preparation for industry events
Perform additional duties as assigned while complying with company policies and standards
Required Skills & Experience
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in
Marketing, Communications, Business Administration , or related field
(Applicable years of experience may substitute for degree requirement)
Proficiency in
Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Excellent
verbal and written communication skills , including technical and creative writing
Strong proofreading, editing, and attention-to-detail skills
Preferred
Experience with
Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
Prior exposure to proposal coordination or marketing support in a professional services environment
Additional
Strong organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
