Position Overview The
Real Assets Specialist
supports investment teams by analyzing real asset investment opportunities, monitoring portfolio performance, and assisting with transaction execution and reporting. This role blends financial analysis, market research, and operational support to ensure efficient deployment and management of capital in tangible assets.
The position involves close collaboration with portfolio managers, investment analysts, operations teams, and risk and compliance professionals.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor market trends, pricing movements, and investment activity in real asset sectors
Support execution and closing of real asset investments, including due diligence and transaction coordination
Conduct financial modeling, valuation, and risk assessment for real asset projects and investments
Build and maintain analytical tools, dashboards, and reports to support portfolio insights
Assist with portfolio monitoring, P&L tracking, and risk exposure reporting
Identify opportunities, inefficiencies, or risks within the real assets portfolio
Prepare daily, weekly, and ad-hoc investment and portfolio reports for senior management
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, Engineering, or a related field
Understanding of real assets investing, including real estate, infrastructure, or commodities
Experience or coursework in financial modeling, valuation, or portfolio management (preferred but not required)
Advanced analytical skills with strong attention to detail
Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with Python, R, SQL, or other analytical tools is a plus
Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, time-sensitive environments
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Interest in real assets, sustainable investing, and long-term capital deployment
