
Overview
As Intellectual Property Counsel, you will join Match Group’s growing legal team to actively manage intellectual-property-related matters for Match Group’s portfolio of companies and across its leading brands, including Tinder, Hinge, Match, Azar, and OkCupid. Match Group’s portfolio of companies develop and provide online dating platforms globally and have a strong focus on innovation and technology. This is a chance to join a global legal team that is proactive, collaborative, and highly respected, and to work closely with internal clients in a fast-paced and challenging environment. In this role, you will leverage prior law-firm, and preferably corporate/in-house experience, to protect, enforce, and defend Match Group’s intellectual property rights, educate employees about the use of intellectual property, and establish and document best practices in legal matters relating to patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, domain names, rights of publicity, and other intellectual property issues. This role will report to the Director, Intellectual Property and is a hybrid position. When it comes to dating, the connection starts online, but the real magic happens once you meet in real life. We think the same is true for creating the best platforms, so we work together IRL in our Dallas office three days a week.
