About the Role As our front desk Receptionist, you’ll be the first point of contact for clients—welcoming them to the agency and supporting the team with administrative, customer service, and early sales activities. You\u2019ll learn the ins and outs of the insurance business, gain exposure to the client lifecycle, and be mentored by experienced professionals—all while preparing to pursue your license and move into a full sales role if it’s the right fit.
Responsibilities
Greet clients and visitors warmly in-person, over the phone, and via email
Manage appointment scheduling and office communications
Support administrative functions such as maintaining records and filing documents
Handle basic customer inquiries and redirect to licensed agents as needed
Begin participating in client conversations to identify insurance needs and potential coverage gaps
Assist with quoting processes, follow-ups, and outreach campaigns
Collaborate with the team on projects and office operations
Qualifications
Recent college graduate or early-career professional preferred
Previous experience in customer service, office administration, or retail/sales is a plus
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
Comfortable engaging in customer conversations and exploring sales opportunities
Proficient with Microsoft Office and open to learning new software
Interest in obtaining a Property & Casualty or Life & Health insurance license in the future
