Human Resources Business Partner - Baltimore, MD
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resources Business Partner to join our team at our Baltimore facility. This role will support a wide range of HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and training. The ideal candidate will be passionate about fostering a positive workplace culture and ensuring HR practices align with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as a strategic advisor to managers and leaders on workforce planning, organizational design, and employee development.
Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation.
Partner with Talent Acquisition to support recruiting strategies and workforce planning.
Lead HR initiatives including engagement surveys, culture programs, and change management efforts.
Conduct investigations in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
Analyze HR metrics to identify trends and develop action plans to improve employee experience and retention.
Support compensation, benefits, and performance review cycles.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and internal policies.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
5+ years of HR experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Excellent internal and external customer service skills.
Proficiency in HRIS systems (UKG Pro) and Microsoft Office Suite.
