
Territory Sales - Commercial Playgrounds & Recreation Sales - OR

Our client is a leading supplier of recreation equipment. They are seeking an Outside Sales Representative that is extremely driven by selling a product they can be excited and passionate about within their set/protected territory. As an Outside Sales Rep, you will be prospecting in the field for new prospects as well as building existing relationships. Presentations are made to small and large clients (Lunch and Learns); therefore you must possess strong presentation skills. Candidates must be comfortable selling a complex product as well as a longer sales cycle.
Responsibilities
Meet / exceed sales goals and overall objectives
Demonstrate value of products/services through face-to-face meetings to account base within assigned territory
Prepare presentation for key decision makers based on determined needs of customers
Identify business opportunities within new and current client base
Articulate the value proposition of products and services
Build and maintain client relationships; offer guidance and support throughout the entire sales process
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products/services and market
Collaborate with other departments, assist development of creative initiatives to meet client needs/requirements and ensure effective project management
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred
Min. 4+ years B2B Sales experience targeting schools, government (parks and recreation), construction and/or architects
Seeking sales backgrounds with experience selling new business as well as relationship sales
Experience with RFI, RFP and RFQ processes preferred
Knowledge/understanding of construction plans, bid specifications and project take-offs
Excellent presentation skills (small and large groups)
Documented Sales Success of meeting and achieving sales goals
Excellent organizational skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Solid experience with CRM (Salesforce), Microsoft Office suite
Excellent communication and time management skills
Ability to travel within territory
Year 1 @ plan guarantee $100,000 with potential to $120,000
Quarterly Commissions
Expenses: Gas, Computer/Printer, Phone
