The

"Rare Disease Account Manager"

is responsible for developing and executing a business plan to maximize sales of TARPEYO within the territory. This plan must align with company strategies and policies. Key Responsibilities

Meet or exceed sales targets, KPIs, and marketing objectives Promote and educate healthcare professionals about Calliditas products using approved resources Adhere to ethical sales practices and compliance regulations Develop and implement a call plan to reach key customers effectively Handle objections and guide customers towards action Maintain knowledge of customer needs, market dynamics, and competitors Share market intelligence to inform brand strategy Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in healthcare settings Deliver product messaging both in person and virtually Travel within the territory as needed, including overnight stays Submit reports, activity logs, and expense reports in a timely manner Qualifications

Required: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution At least five years of successful pharmaceutical sales experience, including 2+ years in specialty/hospital sales Experience in nephrology or rare/orphan drugs Proven sales performance, recognized through awards or documentation Strong presentation skills and scientific knowledge Ability to work independently and in a team Comfort with virtual and face-to-face selling Willingness to travel approximately 60% of the time, including overnight stays Meet HCIR credentialing requirements for healthcare facility access Additional Details
