What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Serve as the scientific interface between the employer and its customers, articulating the value proposition of models and services
Lead in project design and ensure alignment between customer needs and employer solutions
Collaborate with colleagues to expand customer base and market share
Support sales through technical prospecting and representation at conferences
Oversee project designs to mitigate risks and ensure customer expectations are met
Qualifications
Doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in biology, chemistry, animal science, genetics, or a related field, or a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
Experience in experimental science principles and laboratory practices
Strong foundation in in vivo research, particularly in translational science or drug development
Excellent communication skills for conveying complex scientific concepts to diverse audiences
Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in scientific consulting, technical sales, or project design
Located on the West Coast for easier collaboration with the team
