Residential Construction Superintendent , you will be the driving force behind the successful execution of our residential projects, overseeing the entire construction process to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and the highest quality standards. Responsibilities
Manage and oversee on-site construction activities from start to finish, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring all activities are sequenced and coordinated.
Coordinate and communicate with the field team and Project Manager to ensure project success.
Review and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
Ensure the safety of all workers on the job site, providing a safe work environment at all times.
Ensure compliance with all applicable building codes and regulations.
Manage and oversee the work of subcontractors, ensuring that all work is completed to the required standard.
Manage project budgets, ensuring costs are controlled and projects are delivered within budget.
Provide regular progress reports to project managers.
Foster a culture of collaboration and teamwork, building effective working relationships with all members of the project team.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in construction management or a related field.
High School diploma or GED required. A bachelor's degree is a plus.
Bilingual English / Spanish preferred.
Knowledge of building codes and regulations.
Ability to read, understand, and explain construction blueprints and floorplans.
Expertise in standard commercial construction practices.
Proven ability to deliver projects on time and on budget.
Ability to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction for demanding clients.
Deep knowledge of industry safety practices.
Excellent computer skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn new software. JobTread experience is a plus.
Professionalism in manner and attire.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong leadership and project management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Resourcefulness and ability to work well under pressure.
Compensation
Starting salary at $65,000 to $75,000 commensurate with experience.
1099 Independent Contractor (possible W-2 employment later).
Small team environment with upward mobility.
