
The Construction Superintendent will oversee the on-site execution of ground-up commercial projects, typically ranging from $5M - $20M. You will be responsible for managing all day-to-day field operations to ensure work is completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires working closely with subcontractors, suppliers, architects, and engineers to coordinate efforts, resolve issues quickly, and keep the project moving forward. Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills are critical, as you’ll be the driving force behind maintaining a productive job site and delivering projects that meet or exceed client expectations.
Responsibilities
Project Scheduling & Execution: Develop, maintain, and adjust project schedules to keep work on track and meet deadlines.
Quality Assurance: Regularly inspect work to ensure it meets plans, specifications, and quality standards.
Safety Oversight: Enforce safety policies, conduct site safety meetings, and proactively address potential hazards.
Subcontractor Coordination: Direct and manage subcontractor crews, ensuring performance meets project requirements.
Stakeholder Communication: Provide clear and consistent updates to clients, design teams, and internal leadership.
Cost Management: Monitor field-related expenses and assist in keeping the project within budget.
Site Operations Management: Supervise site logistics, material deliveries, and equipment usage to optimize efficiency.
Issue Resolution: Quickly address field challenges to minimize disruptions or delays.
Progress Reporting: Prepare and deliver timely progress reports to all relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications
2+ years as Superintendent on $10M+ Ground Up projects.
Experienced in Driving the Job, Scheduling, and Trades Management.
Proficiency with MS Office, Bluebeam, Procore, and related project management tools.
