Home Improvement Financing Contractor Consultant
At Regions, the Home Improvement Financing Contractor Consultant is the first point of contact for prospective customers and responsible for determining which customer leads meet the bank's minimum requirements. This role provides administrative support through servicing a high volume of outgoing and incoming calls while providing excellent customer service. Regions Home Improvement Financing, a division of Regions Bank, engages in strategic partnerships with home-improvement manufacturers, distributors, franchisors, trade groups, and independent contractors to provide Point-of-Sale financing capabilities. This enables these partners to provide homeowners with an additional option to pay for various improvements to their homes, benefitting both the contractor partner and the homeowner. Primary Responsibilities Answers a high volume of outgoing and incoming calls to prescreen leads and verify eligibility for Home Improvement Financing lending programs Communicates with contractors to understand their needs via phone and email Performs contractor research and other relationship management team support as needed Assists in the accurate input of contractor information in CRM system Requirements High School Diploma or GED and two (2) years of customer service or call center experience in a professional environment Preferences Associate's degree or four (4) years of total related work experience Skills and Competencies Ability to be reliable, punctual, and work overtime as needed Ability to handle multiple priorities, work in a fast-paced environment, and make decisions quickly while demonstrating adaptability Excellent customer service skills with an emphasis on active listening, diplomacy, persuasion and problem resolution Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Strong verbal and written communication skills Position Type Full time Compensation Details Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job. The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position. Job Range Target: Minimum: $42,000.00 USD Median: $50,725.50 USD Incentive Pay Plans: This job is not incentive eligible.
