Organization Summary
Founded in 2018, LatinxEd is on a mission to advance Latine leadership and participation in higher education. Through leadership development and policy advocacy, we are working to create a world where the systems that were meant to shape us, can be shaped by us. Our vision is to reimagine education systems that recognize, meet, and value the diverse needs and strengths of Latine families. We support and partner with allies who share our commitment to educational justice, and we serve all who seek to build thriving, inclusive communities. Through our programming and advocacy, we create pathways to educational, professional, and civic engagement for Latine leaders and learners across North Carolina. We are committed to breaking down barriers and building frameworks that cultivate opportunity, dignity, and belonging for all.
LatinxEd is a non‑profit organization that invests in Latine leadership and expands educational equity & opportunity in NC. We envision culturally sustaining education systems that recognize, meet, and honor the diverse needs of Latine immigrant families.

Ultimately, by supporting the success of Latine education leaders across the state, our work seeks to strengthen North Carolina’s increasingly diverse communities by fostering Latine leadership to ensure proportional representation in the state’s social, economic, and civic landscape.
