Responsible for performing a variety of assignments requiring skills in all conventional aspects of architectural designs for projects of small to moderate size and complexity. Has the ability to independently and comprehensively survey and input existing site conditions (including MEP and on-site code issues), transfer schematic design sketches into fully developed plans, and produce a set of construction documents. Applicant can perform construction administration duties (site verification, submittals, meetings) under the supervision of a senior leader.
Responsibilities Include
Produce 3D modeling and renderings.
Comprehensive space surveys and as-built drawings.
Production of Construction Documents, including Specifications and MEP Coordination.
Interior and Exterior construction detailing.
Research related to Building Code related and technical design.
Construction Administration tasks, including reviewing/logging shop drawings, submittals, RFIs.
Attend construction field visits and generate reports, when assigned.
Performing punch list and post occupancy reports.
Attend client meetings when assigned.
Qualifications Include
1-3 years of professional full-time experience.
A Bachelor’s in Architecture or Master’s in Architecture from a NAAB accredited institution. On the path to licensure.
Familiarity of National Building Codes (IBC), Life Safety, Accessibility Guidelines.
Knowledge of BOMA a plus.
Working knowledge of 3D modeling programs, including Revit and Sketchup.
Knowledge of Lumion software.
Working knowledge for production of CD sets in AutoCAD and AutoCAD Architecture. Knowledge of production of CD sets in Revit a plus.
Working knowledge of Adobe suite, Photoshop, and InDesign.
Excellent in Microsoft Office suite.
Comfortable with a fast-paced work-setting.
Strong attention to detail and ability to focus on tasks.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, being able to work with a team and mentored by a PM.
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Ability to commute to Morristown is required.
