Position Summary We are seeking a Senior Commercial Contracts Administrator to establish, manage, and continuously improve our contracting function within a rapidly growing medical device company. This role will build scalable systems and processes for contract intake, approval, and tracking. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contract administration within the medical device or healthcare industry, with hands‑on experience implementing contract lifecycle management tools and streamlining workflows in a fast‑paced, regulated environment. The successful candidate will partner closely with Legal, Information Systems Management Security, Compliance, Procurement, Operations, and Commercial teams to support efficient contracting processes that protect company interests while enabling business growth.

Commercial Contract Administration

Prepare, review, and administer various contracts, including customer contracts, Business Associate Agreements (BAAs), and customer sales quotations; review, negotiate, and support commercial contracts throughout the order and post‑sale cycle.

Coordinate with Legal, Compliance, Procurement, Information Systems Management Security, and Commercial teams to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with company objectives.

Maintain a centralized repository of executed contracts with version control and renewal tracking.

Support internal audits and reporting related to contract status, obligations, and risk exposure.

Compliance and Risk Management

Ensure all contracts adhere to company policies and applicable regulations (e.g., FDA, HIPAA, GDPR).

Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to enhance compliance and efficiency.

Partner with stakeholders to manage third‑party data privacy, confidentiality, and regulatory compliance obligations.

Continuous Improvement

Establish key performance metrics for contracting processes (e.g., cycle time, compliance rate, renewal timeliness).

Serve as a subject‑matter expert for contract‑related systems and workflows as the company scales.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, legal studies, or a related field.

Experience working closely with a sales team.

5+ years of experience in contract administration, preferably within the medical device, life sciences, or healthcare industry.

Exposure to commercial agreements, vendor contracts, and distributor relationships in global markets.

Demonstrated experience setting up or scaling contract management systems and processes in a growing organization.

Knowledge of healthcare compliance and regulatory requirements (FDA, HIPAA, GDPR).

Experience implementing or managing contract lifecycle management (CLM) software such as Salesforce, Ironclad, Conga, Agiloft, or ContractWorks.
