FCCI is seeking an

Instructional Designer

to join our HR/Learning & Development team. Key responsibilities include designing and developing training curriculum and materials to meet identified training and skill development needs across the organization. Using best practice Adult Learning principles and state of the art learning technologies, this key role will capably design effective learning programs in a variety of delivery media (i.e., eLearning, self-paced, small group or virtual delivery methods.) Position can be based at our corporate headquarters in Sarasota, FL or Lake Mary, FL Lawrenceville, GA, Richardson, TX or Ridgeland, MS office.

What you will do:

Design and develop learning experiences using instructional design best practices for new programs. Review and modify existing programs.

Partner with subject matter experts to translate complex business topics into learner-centered content.

Create and maintain learning assets across multiple formats (elearning, ILT, job aids).

Apply basic visual design principles to create learning materials.

Develop and monitor metrics for evaluating training and development effectiveness.

The salary range for this position is $62,419-$96,126 annually. This salary range is an estimate and the actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Qualifications Education Bachelors or better in Education or related field.

Experience

Minimum two years successful, professional training and development experience.

Solid working knowledge of the principles and methods for curriculum instructional and training design. To include development of eLearning course storyboards with content, suggestions for graphics, suggestions for interactions or other adult learning engagement strategies and pre/post assessments.

Solid working knowledge or willingness to learn tools used for the role, which includes learning management systems, learning authoring systems (i.e., Articulate or Captivate), video editing software, and virtual instruction platforms (i.e., Zoom, Adobe Connect).

Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.

Ability to analyze, define and solve problems; the use of good judgment and decision-making.

Ability to manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously.

Insurance experience is not required, but a plus.
