About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director for a behavioral health organization. The successful candidate will be a visionary leader responsible for the overall performance of the organization, including the delivery of high-quality behavioral health and substance abuse clinical services, operational excellence, and fiscal stewardship. This role involves leading day-to-day operations, advancing long-term strategy, overseeing grants and funding compliance, and fostering community and legislative relationships. The Executive Director will also be instrumental in expanding services, integrating research and innovation, and ensuring the organization remains responsive and impactful in meeting community needs.

Applicants must have a Master’s degree in a relevant field, with professional licensure or certification preferred, and a minimum of eight years of experience in a behavioral health setting, including at least five years in a supervisory or leadership role. The role requires a strong understanding of behavioral health treatment approaches, and research, and/or intervention grants, as well as a proven ability to collaborate with various stakeholders. The Executive Director will be responsible for developing and managing program and project budgets, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and maintaining all necessary licensure, certifications, and accreditations. Additionally, the role involves engaging in public and governmental relations activities to promote evidence-based treatment for substance use disorders.
