We are seeking a Seafood Sales Manager to drive sales growth and manage client relationships in the business services industry. This role requires a results-driven individual with a strong understanding of sales strategies and the seafood market. Client Details Our client is a growing frozen food manufacturer serving the foodservice channel across restaurants, distributors, and regional operators. They are seeking a Sales Manager to own and grow the Southern California territory, driving distribution, volume, and customer relationships across broadline and regional foodservice partners. This is a high-impact, hands-on role for someone who understands frozen food, distributor relationships, and how decisions are made at the operator level. Description Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business objectives in the seafood market. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to drive repeat business and customer satisfaction. Identify new business opportunities and expand the company's client base. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services and products. Analyze market trends and competitor activities to adjust sales strategies accordingly. Prepare and present sales reports to senior management. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior sales team members. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations. Own and grow foodservice sales across Southern California Manage and expand relationships with broadline and regional distributors (Sysco, US Foods, PFG, regional independents, etc.) Drive new operator placements across restaurants, chains, and multi-unit operators Execute product launches, menu placements, and promotional programs Work closely with distributor reps to increase pull-through and velocity Identify new business opportunities and white space within the territory Manage pricing, contracts, and basic forecasting for the region Collaborate with marketing, supply chain, and leadership to support growth initiatives Represent the brand at trade shows, food shows, and customer events MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. Profile A successful Seafood Sales Manager should have: 5+ years of foodservice sales experience, ideally within frozen foods or value-added proteins Strong understanding of distributor-led selling models Proven ability to sell into restaurants, chains, and foodservice operators Experience working with both broadline and regional distributors Self-starter comfortable owning a territory with minimal oversight Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills Willingness to travel locally throughout Southern California Proven experience in sales within the seafood or related industry. Strong understanding of the business services industry and market dynamics. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to develop and maintain long-term client relationships. Proficiency in analyzing market trends and data to inform sales strategies. Strong organizational and leadership skills. Job Offer Competitive salary ranging from $140,000 to $160,000 USD.
