Powder Coat Painter / Industrial Painter

Join a respected independent producer of custom electrical enclosure solutions, offering a family-owned atmosphere and over 50 years of industry experience. As a Powder Coat Painter, you will contribute to creating customized electrical enclosure boxes and metal boxes for various industries, including Material Handling Systems, OEM, Building Automation Systems, and Distribution. Responsibilities: Hang parts on the paint line, involving constant lifting of up to 50 lbs. Conduct powder coating and industrial painting on aluminum and other metal materials. Participate in paint preparation, racking, and sandblasting processes. Operate within a paint booth environment, which is a dirty, industrial room. Consistently work with materials weighing 50+ lbs. Follow safety protocols by wearing provided PPE, including eye glasses and ear plugs. Essential Skills: Experience in spray painting and blasting. Ability to lift and handle weights up to 50 lbs. Familiarity with powder coating, industrial painting, and paint preparation. Experience in automotive painting, sanding, and hand tool usage. Additional Skills & Qualifications: Experience in automotive collision repair is advantageous. Knowledge in coating, grinding, and production processes. Why Work Here? Work Environment: The work environment includes a non-climate controlled area with large fans throughout the site. However, the paint area is air-conditioned, providing a comfortable space for painting tasks. Steel toes are required, and full training will be provided to ensure safety and skill development. Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Garland, TX. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $20.00/hr.
