Job Summary
We are seeking an individual to join our team at Standard Chartered Bank in New York. The successful candidate will be working directly with the Executive Director, Structured Credit Sales as well as other team members to maximize the executive's efficiency by managing time, communication and logistical needs. You will be expected to grow FM Sales Investor and SIG business across non-flow credit within the US region.
Focus on structured product origination and sales across ABF, ABS, ABL, TRS and bespoke products. You will further develop the Bank's relationships with Clients through marketing and sales of Financial Market products generally and specifically to grow the business with Investors and SIG clients. You will work with clients in conjunction with Relationship Managers, and other colleagues in Sales, Origination, Research, Relationship Management, Structuring, Trading, Legal, Compliance and Risk, to develop a thorough understanding of each prospective client's business needs. We appreciate self-driven candidates who excel developing a productive working relationship with the client's key decision makers through calls, visits, and provision of relevant information to become a critical external resource to their decision-making process around usage of Financial Markets instruments as well as advisory, strategy, risk mitigation, compliance, governance. Key Responsibilities
•
Develop a productive working relationship with the client's key decision makers through calls, visits, and provision of relevant information to become a critical external resource to their decision-making process around usage of Financial Markets instruments. •
Work with Relationship Managers to originate new clients to market and sell Financial Market products. •
Emphasis on cross asset and cross boarder collaboration in order maximize client service. •
Drive the client engagement for RWA optimization to improve the overall FM product RoRWA. •
Use existing relationships with sponsors and NBFI originators to originate back leverage opportunities against corporate assets (ABL/TRS), granular portfolios of loans and receivables (ABF/ABS) and other bespoke financings and when appropriate a subsequent sell down of the originated risk. •
Responsible for the distribution of private ABF financings originated by financial markets. •
Grow SCBs risk tolerance and footprint in new asset classes educating all stakeholders in the chain including management and risk. Strategy •
Grow SCB's client income from non-bank FI US clients and drive penetration of key target clients. •
Support any global client initiatives to increase SCB's revenues with non-bank FIs on non-flow credit (domestically and through the network). •
Work closely with all stakeholders to improve the firm's coordination and penetration with key clients. •
Responsible for providing solutions to clients, sourcing and distributing private side loans and selling down SCB's positions. Business •

Provide seamless backup for colleagues when they are unavailable to deal with clients and other internal teams. •
Facilitate deal origination and distribution. •
Actively engage Structuring, Trading, Relationship and Risk Management teams to facilitate optimum client risk solutions. •
Awareness and understanding of the wider business, economic and market environment in which the Group operates Qualifications
•
10+ years of front-office experience in credit markets, securitization, structured finance, financial markets / investment banking, structured credit trading. •
Experience in working with Relationship Managers to originate new clients to market and sell Financial Market products. •
Commercial instinct & client orientation: ability to originate and close trades with risk discipline. •
Expertise in securitization, structured finance, and bespoke credit financing. Understanding of risk drivers and hedging strategies. •
Proactive client engagement to identify needs and deliver tailored financial solutions. Strong existing network, with the ability to originate new business and maintain client relationships. •
Ability to structure and close complex, multi-leg, and cross-border transactions. Proficiency in navigating legal and regulatory documentation. •
A "risk-first" mindset, ensuring transactions align with the firm's risk appetite and RWA (Risk-Weighted Assets) optimization. •
Proven track record of driving revenue and managing high-value relationships. •
Execution excellence: speed, accuracy, and control across complex structures and multi-leg hedges. •
Communication: concise, credible with clients and internal stakeholders; strong term sheet/documentation fluency. •

The final offer will be determined on an individualised basis using a number of variables, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience and education, internal relativity, and specific work location.
