Principal Quality Risk Strategy & Governance Architect
is responsible for the "blueprints" of our organizational resilience. This role focuses on
ISO 31000 principles
to develop and operationalize a comprehensive risk management framework. You will not just identify risks; you will architect the systems that allow our cross-functional teams to navigate uncertainty, driving broad organizational change to ensure quality is designed-in from the start. Key Responsibilities Framework Operationalization:
Design, deploy, and manage a scalable Risk Management framework across Personal Systems, ensuring it is embedded into the R&D and manufacturing workflows. ISO 31000 Governance:
Be a leading authority on ISO 31000 principles, ensuring all risk assessment activities align with international standards. Change Management:
Drive broad organizational change, influencing senior leadership and cross-functional teams to adopt a risk-based decision-making culture. Alignment must be made to internal KPIs to show forecasted impact and cost (in metrics or dollars) of acting and forecasting the benefit. Cross-Functional Risk Mitigation:
Lead technical and business teams in identifying high-impact risks. This can include component sub-suppliers to firmware vulnerabilities and architecting mitigation strategies. Strategic Risk Modeling:
Utilize data-driven insights to model potential quality disruptions, providing executive-level recommendations that impact business continuity and financial outcomes. Required Technical Expertise Risk Management Standards:
Expert knowledge of
ISO 31000
and its application in a hardware/software development environment. Risk Assessment Tools:
Mastery of FMEA, Risk Priority Number (RPN) optimization, and proactive risk modeling. Organizational Transformation:
Proven ability to implement new business processes across large, complex global organizations. Education and Experience Education:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Risk Management, or Business/Supply Chain with a technical focus. Experience:
10+ years of leadership experience, preferably in an
Architecture or Strategy
capacity within the
Computing, Technology, Aerospace, or Automotive
sectors. Certifications:
Certified Risk Manager (CRM) or ASQ Certified Quality Manager (CMQ/OE) is highly desirable. The pay range for this role is
$130,700
to
$205,200
USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
