Job Responsibilities
**This posting will be used to fill two summer internship positions in the Office of Public Engagement. **
Leads a photo archive project and catalogue photo assets. Reviews content across a variety of platforms for timeliness and accuracy and suggest changes. Supports content creation through research, writing, photography and video creation. Assists public outreach and events staff with upcoming conferences and meetings. Creates communications campaign plans and strategies for upcoming projects. Designs graphics, materials and other marketing materials. Assists public involvement staff with upcoming public involvement planning and executing public involvement meetings and outreach strategies. Collaborates with staff on new ideas and programs that further the department's engagement objectives. Updates media lists and performs other required administrative duties.
Pay Rate is between $17.00 - $23.00/per hour depending on qualifications. Minimum and Additional Requirements
A high school diploma; or an approved acceptable equivalence.
Applicants must be accepted into or currently in a two-year or four-year college or university program in Digital Communication, Journalism, Communication and Media Studies, Public Relations, or related field. Additional Comments
