Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Property Management Assistant in Birmingham, AL. The Property Management Assistant will handle day-to-day administrative tasks, property management operations, and lease administration. They will also provide exceptional customer service and support communication efforts within the property management team.

Qualifications

3 years of direct or relevant professional experience in real estate, property management, or facilities management.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Experience using property management/accounting software (e.g., Yardi, Building Engines, Angus, or similar) preferred.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills; ability to meet deadlines.

Professional written and verbal communication skills with excellent tenant service etiquette.

Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive tenant/vendor information.

Analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.

Self-starter with ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Ability to reliably commute to/from the property during required on-site hours.

Knowledge of basic accounting principles (A/P, accruals, GL coding, variance review) preferred.
