We are partnering confidentially with a well-established, values-driven General Contractor in Central Indiana that delivers high-quality commercial and mixed-use projects with a strong emphasis on community impact, craftsmanship, and long-term relationships. This organization has a stable project pipeline, strong leadership, and a reputation for running clean, organized jobsites. They are seeking a Superintendent or Senior Superintendent to join their growing field leadership team. Position Overview
The Superintendent / Senior Superintendent will lead on-site construction operations from project start through closeout. This role is ideal for a hands-on field leader who takes pride in safety, quality, and team collaboration, and who wants to be part of a company where leadership is accessible and decisions are made locally. Key Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day field operations on active commercial construction projects Coordinate subcontractors, site logistics, inspections, and schedules Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized jobsite; enforce OSHA standards Review drawings, specifications, and scopes to ensure accurate execution Drive schedule adherence and proactively identify and solve field issues Partner closely with Project Managers and ownership to deliver successful projects Oversee quality control, punch lists, and project closeout activities Mentor and develop Assistant Superintendents and field staff (Senior level) What We’re Looking For
Superintendent: 5+ years of field leadership experience Senior Superintendent: 10+ years of experience managing complex commercial projects Strong background in ground‑up and/or large‑scale renovation projects Proven ability to lead subcontractors and crews effectively Excellent communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills OSHA 30 preferred (or willingness to obtain) Experience with scheduling software and construction technology a plus Why This Role
