Position Overview

The Senior Manager, Patient Advocacy will support PharmaEssentia’s advocacy strategies and partnerships within the therapeutic areas of myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPN) and the broader blood cancers and rare disease spaces. The role will cultivate and maintain long‑term, trust‑based relationships with patient organizations, elevate the patient voice across departments, and position PharmaEssentia as a valued partner in the MPN community. This position reports to the Director, Patient Advocacy. Key Responsibilities

Build and nurture strong, compliant, and meaningful partnerships with patient advocacy organizations in the MPN, blood cancers, and rare disease spaces. Facilitate and execute contracting and invoicing processes for patient advocacy partnerships and sponsorships. Support the development and execution of advocacy strategy plans aligned with internal cross‑functional goals and therapeutic area priorities. Integrate patient and caregiver voices and perspectives within external partnerships and internal work/initiatives. Drive aligned goals across the MPN landscape, focusing on patient education, access, research, and shared decision‑making in healthcare. Represent PharmaEssentia in relevant patient advocacy programming, meetings, working groups, and congresses. Coordinate with internal stakeholders (Medical, Marketing, Market Access, Communications, Commercial) to ensure cohesion in patient‑related programming, partnerships, and initiatives. Support Patient Marketing through PV in Focus and Patient Ambassador programs. Required Education, Experience and Skills

Bachelor’s degree or higher. At least 3‑5 years of patient advocacy experience in the biopharmaceutical industry and/or working with patient advocacy organizations. Proven ability to build high‑trust, transparent, and collaborative relationships with diverse stakeholders. Experience developing and executing advocacy strategies tied to a therapeutic area, preferably in oncology or hematology. Experience with patient advocacy partnership/sponsorship contracting processes. Familiarity with the compliance environment around patient advocacy partnerships and patient interactions. Demonstrated reputation internally and externally as a well‑respected, dynamic team‑player. Strong project management and cross‑functional collaboration capabilities. Skilled in integrating the patient voice in strategies and work across multiple departments. Ability to travel 25‑30% domestically, with potential international travel. Salary

The expected salary range for this position based on greater Boston, MA location is $135,000‑$175,000. Actual salary pay will be based on multiple factors, including geographic location, experience, qualifications, and other job‑related factors permitted by law. Benefits of working with our team
