Job Summary
Leads and manages Inside Sales Representatives across multiple Market Areas, driving revenue growth through expert sales of WM services via telephone. This role combines strategic oversight with hands‑on leadership to develop high‑performing sales teams and implement targeted sales and marketing initiatives that align with customer needs and business objectives.
This position is a remote opportunity that will require occasional travel to the Phoenix Sales Center office.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Supervise and mentor Inside Sales Representatives across various Market Areas, fostering a culture of performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Partner with cross‑functional teams to align sales strategies with broader organizational initiatives and ensure seamless execution.
Establish and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction on all sales transactions.
Monitor sales metrics, analyze performance data, and provide actionable feedback and coaching to drive individual and team success.
Forecast and recruit qualified candidates for available and/or upgraded Inside Sales Team positions.
Develop and execute ongoing training that provides formal training and informal coaching sessions to all Inside Sales Representatives, encouraging feedback and providing direction and assistance when needed. Update reference materials as appropriate.
Participate in training and coaching the Inside Sales staff.
Assist in the communication and maintenance of the Market Area's pricing and service strategies.
Design and implement effective sales and marketing programs tailored to current and emerging customer needs, market trends, and business goals.
Work with the Market Area Sales Manager to develop and implement strategies to upsell and cross‑sell to customers via outbound calls. Communicate goals to Inside Sales Representatives.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Direct supervision of up to 30 full‑time employees.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree (accredited) or, alternatively, a High School Diploma or GED plus four (4) years of relevant experience.
Three (3) years of business‑to‑business sales management, plus three (3) years in direct B2B sales or a minimum of two (2) years of inside sales management experience.
Preferred: Five years or more of experience in a call‑center environment, sales leadership, and a proven track record of driving revenue results.

Required to be exposed to physical environments involving dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes or similar elements rarely.
Normal setting for this job is an office environment.
Compensation and Benefits The expected base pay range for this position across the U.S. is $87,900 – $122,000. The specific salary offered may be influenced by relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location. This position is eligible for incentive pay.
