We are partnering with a global law firm to identify a

Senior Global Billing Specialist

to support complex, high-volume client billing portfolios across domestic and international matters. This is a senior individual contributor role for a billing subject-matter expert who is comfortable owning sophisticated billing books, partnering closely with attorneys and internal teams, and driving accuracy, compliance, and process improvement at scale. The Senior Global Billing Specialist provides full-cycle billing support for high-profile institutional clients, including complex domestic and global billing arrangements. This role operates with a high degree of autonomy and plays a consultative role across billing operations, while also supporting team development and best practices. Key Responsibilities

Domestic Billing Manage complex, high-volume billing portfolios, including electronic billing assignments. Review, edit, finalize, and submit invoices on a recurring billing cycle. Resolve billing inquiries and discrepancies while meeting defined service standards. Maintain and interpret detailed client billing requirements and billing guidelines. Perform root-cause analysis on billing rejections and drive resolution. Prepare accruals, reporting, and detailed billing analysis. Act as a trusted billing partner to attorneys and internal stakeholders. Support process improvements and provide backup support to leadership as needed. Coordinate unified global billing for international client accounts. Partner with international finance teams to obtain accruals, forecasts, and reporting. Ensure global billing activity aligns with client requirements and internal policies. Generate and submit electronic billing files for global clients. Track and resolve issues across multiple regions and stakeholders. Required Experience & Skills

Minimum of 5 years of experience managing complex billing or client accounts in a professional services environment. Hands-on experience with Aderant is required. Advanced knowledge of domestic, global, and electronic billing processes. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently. Proven ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders. Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members preferred. Advanced Excel skills strongly preferred. Education

High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field strongly preferred. This is a

fully remote position

within the United States, offering flexibility while supporting a collaborative, national billing team.
