
Product Sales Specialist - Gulf Coast Territory

Equipment from Clark’s Oil Filtration Systems product line is used to clean and dry hydraulic, lubrication, and fuel oils, as well as remove varnish from lube oil used in rotating equipment. Enervac and trade International ULC manufactures equipment designed to remove water and gases from transformer oil, as well as equipment to handle and filter SF6 gas in transformers.
What is a Product Sales Specialist? A Product Sales Specialist (PSS) will be focused on selling our Oil Filtration Systems, Filter Elements, Anderson and Hycoa products and services in the Midwest territory. The PSS will promote and sell products to strategic market segments and develop new customers through direct sales calls and/or third‑party representatives. Product Sales Specialists provide technical and application support to representatives and end‑users, in addition to supporting existing sales channels including direct sales, resellers, and select distributors.
What We Are Looking For
Candidate must reside in Louisiana (LA).
The ideal candidate will have experience selling through direct sales channels in Oil and Gas, Power Generation, Pulp and Paper, or similar markets.
Bachelor’s or Technical degree required, preferably in Engineering, Marketing, or Business (equivalent work experience will be considered).
Minimum of one year of outside sales experience selling in a Plant, Industrial, or Manufacturing environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
Identify and develop new customers and applications.
Participate in on‑site meetings with prospects and customers.
Provide market and application information for the defined markets.
Help produce marketing materials including presentations, bulletins, sales and technical manuals.
Review and analyze customer requirements through data sheets, blueprints, or other information to develop and prepare a detailed proposal describing equipment needed, price, delivery time, and financial terms.
Review proposals for compliance with company standards and contract language.
Provide technical, installation and troubleshooting consultation with customers, sales and other company departments.
Market / sell products to the Oil and Gas and power generation and product related market segments.
Identify key prospects, complete needs assessments, generate and qualify leads.
Develop sales plans to meet or exceed established quotas.
Maintain CRM per company guidelines.
Track and communicate sales prospects, competitive threats, revenue/profit expectations to management.
Participate in promotional events such as conferences, trade shows, speakers’ bureaus and industry relations programs.
Run business errands.
Communicate effectively with all levels of employees, suppliers, customers, and peers.
Comply with policies, procedures, standards and rules of the company.
Maintain quality assurance policy consistent with ISO standards.
Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area.
Punctual, regular and consistent attendance.
Perform any other job‑related duties assigned.
Required Experience and Education
Bachelor’s or Technical degree required in Engineering, Marketing, or Business preferred or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of one year of outside sales experience selling in a Plant, Industrial or Manufacturing environment.
Must live within 60 minutes of a major commercial airport.
Ability to read, write, speak, and follow verbal instructions in Standard English required.
Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic, technical environment.
Growth achieved through creativity, integrity, reasoned and thoughtful judgment, high sense of urgency, and sales tenacity.
Proven ability to communicate complex ideas to a varied audience.
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time with frequent overnight travel required.
Successful passing of a routine motor vehicle, drug screen and credit report required.

Minimal lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Must be able to sit, stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, bend and stoop in a normal office environment.
Ability to routinely travel throughout multi‑floor offices and shop areas, walk, climb stairs and use elevators.
Respond to changing requirements and working conditions.
Travel required; exposure to varying environments and cultures at job sites; strict time constraints.
Must work with minimal supervision.
