Overview In the coming years, every knowledge worker will have an AI agent managing their career (Jack), and every company will have an AI agent helping them hire (Jill). By connecting those agents, we’re building a new infrastructure for the future of the labor market.

We are a 10‑month‑old startup that raised a $20M seed led by tier‑1 VC Creandum. HQ is in London.

We have released two agentic products and are scaling rapidly with 100k Jack users and approaching 1,000 companies under contract using Jill.

Our founder‑heavy team (15 people, 10 ex‑founders) is mostly based in London.

Founded by two experienced serial founders: Matt (CEO, previously grew a company to a $600m valuation in 3 years before exiting to Deel) and Saaras (CTO, grew a YC AI sales startup to $3m ARR in a year).

Role We’re looking for a Founding Commercial Lead to own Jill’s go‑to‑market in San Francisco. You will be one half of our SF founding pair, working alongside Arya (our first hire, ex‑founder).

Your mission: make Jill the go‑to AI recruiter for SF startups and scaleups, cracking the B2B motion—closing companies, onboarding them, ensuring hires—and building the playbook to launch in NYC and beyond.

This is a 0→1 role. You will start by doing non‑scalable tasks—manual matching, coffee chats, personal onboarding—to learn the market and build credibility. Then you will systematise those learnings into a repeatable motion that can be taken to other markets.

Who you are

The Talent Insider

– TA leader at a scaling startup, recruiting tech company, or sold to talent teams. You know the pain points, workflows, objections, and speak the language with credibility.

The Ex‑Founder

– Built something in the Bay Area, can sell, provide feedback, wear many hats in a 0→1 environment, and has a deep existing network.

The Early GTM Builder

– Early sales or partnerships hire at a rocketship. You’ve taken something from $0 to $1M+ ARR and built a repeatable motion from scratch.

The VC Platform / Talent Partner

– Spent time in VC helping portfolio companies hire, run events, make introductions, and now want to build.

You'll Be a Great Fit If

High‑agency, full‑stack operator

– Acting as the founder of the region, figuring out what needs to get done and making it happen.

Existing SF network

– You can get meetings that cold outbound can’t.

AI‑native

– You instinctively reach for AI tools and automation.

Understanding of the TA buyer

– You know why they’re skeptical of AI solutions and how to earn their trust.

Ambitious overachiever

– You hold yourself to an exceptionally high bar.

Great communicator and self‑motivated

– You’ll be 8 hours behind London, building semi‑independently, over‑communicating and representing J&J as our US brand ambassador.

– We build at speed and expect intense work.

– You’ll be out on a limb, building independently on the West Coast.

– This is an IC role; you’ll run events, close deals, onboard customers, and do the work yourself.
