Position Summary The Sales Account Executive plays a key role in driving new business development and growing existing client relationships in the Hampton Roads market. This position has a direct impact on revenue growth and market expansion and works closely with an internal recruiting team to deliver effective, client-focused staffing solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Build, manage, and grow a portfolio of client and prospect accounts in the local market
Develop new business through inside sales, outbound calling, face-to-face prospecting, networking, and referrals
Conduct on-site client meetings to assess workforce needs and develop customized staffing strategies
Maintain strong client relationships through consistent communication, service delivery, and follow-up
Present PeopleShare’s suite of staffing and workforce solutions in a consultative, value-driven manner
Collaborate with recruiters to ensure client expectations are met and exceeded
Consistently meet or exceed sales activity KPIs and revenue goals
Maintain accurate and detailed documentation within PeopleShare’s systems
Stay informed on market trends, client needs, and competitive activity
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and ethical standards
Qualifications
2+ years of successful B2B sales experience (staffing or professional services preferred)
Proven track record of prospecting, cold calling, and closing new business
Experience utilizing consultative selling techniques
Strong ability to influence and negotiate with decision‑makers, including senior leadership
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship‑building skills
Highly organized with the ability to manage a full sales pipeline
Self‑motivated with a strong sense of urgency and accountability
