As a Sales Advisor

you will deliver excellent customer service, guide shoppers through the store, and actively sell products. You will use fashion and product knowledge to inform customers, support garment care and presentation, and work closely with the team to maintain a clean, welcoming environment.

A Day in the Life

Welcome and guide customers, supporting the OMNI experience where available.

Engage in conversations to provide outstanding service.

Explain fashion trends, stories, and products across all areas.

Promote and sell our products effectively.

Encourage use of the Customer Loyalty App (Hello Member) and sustainability initiatives.

Represent the H&M brand positively in all interactions.

Support commercial or operational actions to achieve sales targets with the store management team.

Fashion & Trend Awareness

Stay current with fashion scenes, trends, styles, brands, and competitors.

Share relevant product and fashion insights with customers.

Team & Development

Transfer service, fashion, and operations knowledge to colleagues.

Follow all procedures, routines, and legal requirements.

Provide and receive feedback to promote learning and support.

Participate in onboarding, training, and development courses.

Retail Operations / Visual & Commercial Execution

Complete garment cycle from unpacking to steaming with proper care.

Operate fitting room and checkout areas according to best practice.

Maintain a clean sales floor and back‑of‑house, including stockrooms.

Present and display merchandise attractively, following visual and commercial guidelines.

Ensure adequate stock levels through replenishment routines.

Support OMNI services and in‑store tech tools such as the In‑store Care App, Click & Collect, and Smart Store.

Assist with opening and closing of the store.

Adhere to all H&S guidelines and legal requirements.

Qualifications

Passionate about fashion and committed to a great customer experience.

Communicative, creative, curious, flexible, decisive, and action‑oriented.

Enjoy working in a collaborative, dynamic environment.

Experience in fashion or retail customer service and sales.

Comfortable engaging customers to promote products and loyalty initiatives.

Sales Associates Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour
