What You'll Get to Do as a UI/UX Lead:

The User Experience (UX) Researcher will play a critical role in gathering and analyzing user insights to inform product and service design decisions. The UX Researcher is responsible for conducting user research sessions, synthesizing findings, and providing actionable recommendations to improve user experience. In addition, they will review and summarize user feedback surveys on a monthly basis, ensuring a continuous understanding of Veteran and beneficiary needs and pain points across the financial management experience. User Research Sessions: Plan, conduct and analyze user research activities such as interviews, usability tests, etc. Survey Feedback Analysis: Review and analyze user feedback surveys from Medallia survey and other relevant sources on a monthly basis. Goal of analysis is to synthesize key findings, summarize trends and insights and ultimately provide actionable recommendations to the product team. Reporting and Presentations: Prepare and present reports that summarize feedback and research findings. Persona and Journey Mapping: Develop user personas, journey maps, and other research artifacts based on research findings to visualize and communicate user needs and interactions. Collaboration with Design and Product Owner: Work closely with product team and UX designers to ensure user research insights are integrated into product design and development process. Requirements

BS degree with a minimum of 3-5 years experience in UX research, with demonstrated experience in both qualitative and quantitative research methods. Must be a U.S. Citizzen Strong understanding of research methodologies including usability testing, surveys, interviews and data analysis. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex research findings into clear, actionable insights. Ability to manage and synthesize large volumes of data from multiple sources. Experience working in cross-functional teams, particularly with designers, product managers and developers. Ability to actively listen and validate users' concerns, which can help alleviate stress and create a positive user experience during research sessions where discussion of finance and debt related topics can be stressful for Veterans and their familie
