We’re looking for a creative, culturally plugged-in
Social Media Strategist
who lives and breathes beauty. You’ll lead organic social strategy across platforms, turning trends, data, and cultural moments into scroll-stopping content that grows our community and elevates our brand. This role owns end-to-end organic social, from strategy and planning to real-time participation in what’s trending now. You’ll bring platform expertise to guide what we make, how we make it, and when it goes live, always optimizing for engagement, discovery, and algorithmic lift. Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning
Build platform-specific strategies and content calendars for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and emerging channels Bring the broader social strategy to life in support of brand goals, launches, and seasonal moments Identify tentpole moments, evolving content pillars, and optimal cadence Develop organic content briefs, monthly editorial calendars, and publishing recommendations Spot and activate on cultural, beauty, and platform trends in real time Content Direction
Partner with creative, production, and influencer teams to concept and deliver trend-forward content Ensure content consistently reflects brand voice, tone, and aesthetic Test and optimize formats like tutorials, GRWMs, ASMR, BTS, and transformations Analytics & Optimization
Lead monthly reporting, content reviews, and strategy refinements Track and analyze performance across engagement, reach, sentiment, and conversion Build measurement plans and KPIs; use insights to guide future content Monitor competitive activity and best practices in beauty social Collaboration
Work closely with account, creative, client, PR, and community teams to align messaging and timing Partner with paid media teams to maximize organic + paid performance Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field 3–6 years of social media strategy or digital marketing experience (beauty preferred) Deep understanding of beauty culture, creators, and platform behavior Expertise across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Threads, and more Experience with social analytics and scheduling tools Strong creative instincts and comfort directing visual content Clear, confident communicator and presenter Nice to Have
Agency or beauty brand experience Influencer, UGC, or social commerce knowledge Short-form video editing or production experience
