Account Development Representative
As an Account Development Representative, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth by managing and expanding customer relationships within an assigned region. In this role, you will proactively contact businesses to introduce and promote our solutions using established outreach lists. You will work closely with a Sales Account Manager to support account management efforts, strengthen customer relationships, and identify growth opportunities. Success in this position is driven by strong communication skills, consistent follow-up, and a consultative approach focused on delivering value to customers. Key Responsibilities Proactively contact assigned businesses to introduce and promote company solutions Manage and grow customer relationships within an assigned region Partner closely with a Sales Account Manager to coordinate outreach, account activity, and growth strategies Identify customer needs and recommend value-added solutions through active listening and problem-solving Balance relationship management ("farming") with proactive outreach ("hunting") activities Utilize data, reporting tools, and CRM systems to track activity, manage pipelines, and support sales strategy Maintain accurate and timely documentation of customer interactions and account activity Perform additional responsibilities as needed to support team and company goals Minimum Qualifications Two or more years of experience in an account management, sales, or customer-facing role with outbound responsibilities Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines Demonstrated persistence, confidence, and professionalism in a sales environment Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to build rapport across all levels of an organization Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to travel up to 10% of the time Preferred Qualifications Experience balancing both account management and new business development responsibilities Strong analytical and PC skills Experience using CRM software, Salesforce preferred Data-driven approach to managing sales activity and customer relationships Benefits Medical, dental, and vision 401(k) with 6% company match Company paid life (AD&D) insurance Additional voluntary coverage options for employee, spouse, and children Paid Time Off (PTO) and NY Safe and Sick Leave On-Site fitness facility Employee Assistance Program (EAP) ARMOR-IIMAK is an equal opportunity organization.
