We’re a growing consumer brand centered around meaningful, design-forward goods- products that are both aesthetic and deeply sentimental. With an established and engaged social presence, we’re entering a new phase of growth and are looking for a Senior Social Media Manager to take real ownership of how the brand shows up online. This role has a clear path to full-time.
This is not a junior or associate social role. It’s a lead position for someone who can think strategically, edit with intention, and shape content into cohesive narratives that drive growth.
About the Role This person will own social content end-to-end-from concept to execution-while helping restructure and refine how the brand and founder’s social channels operate. You’ll have real creative autonomy and trust, with space to bring new ideas, test formats, and build a more intentional long-term content strategy across platforms.
If performance is strong and growth follows, this role has a clear path to full-time.
Who This Role Is For
A senior-level editor and content strategist, not just a task executor
Someone who understands storytelling, pacing, and retention, especially in long-form video
A creative thinker who enjoys building systems and structure, not just posting
Someone comfortable owning projects fully- from idea to final edit to performance review
A self-starter who thrives with autonomy and responsibility
What You’ll Work On
Leading social content strategy with full creative ownership
Developing and testing long-form and short-form storytelling formats (organic + ad-friendly)
Filming and editing content (primarily mobile, occasional professional camera use)
Editing long-form video with strong narrative structure (this is essential!)
Posting, scheduling, and organizing content across platforms
Establishing and maintaining a consistent visual + narrative identity
Collaborating in-person in NYC 1–2 days per week for filming and ideation
Required Experience
Strong long-form video editing experience is non-negotiable
Proven ability to hold attention beyond quick cuts or trends
Strong understanding of captions, on-screen text, and simple graphics that enhance performance
Must have experience script writing for voice-overs
Comfort working independently and making creative decisions
Portfolios consisting only of very short clips (e.g., under 15 seconds) will not be considered
Comfortable posting directly to Instagram and TikTok, with a strong understanding of each platform’s nuances- writing captions, choosing hooks, timing posts, and optimizing content for performance and engagement.
This role starts part-time but is designed to grow into a full-time leadership position for someone whose work drives real results. You’ll have the opportunity to shape the brand’s voice, structure, and long-term content direction.
As your work directly contributes to the growth of the brand- through stronger content, engagement, and performance- your pay will grow alongside that impact.
Foundation Role & Growth Path This is a foundation role at Curio Blvd. The person in this position will help establish the voice, structure, and standards for how the brand shows up on social moving forward. As the brand scales and the social team expands, any future social hires would report into this role.
We’re looking for someone who genuinely believes in the brand and wants to take ownership- not just execute tasks. This is an opportunity to grow with Curio Blvd, help shape the future of the social presence, and step into a leadership position as the team scales.
Every employee helps shape and grow the brand, and this role grows alongside it.
