We are hiring an Inside Sales Representative in New York, NY. This is a role where teamwork and excellent communication skills are critical to successfully expanding the Business Unit.

Responsibilities This position is for an Inside Sales specialist who will:

Perform high-volume data entry as well as manage customer accounts.

Review, prepare and process incoming quote requests via phone, email and selling platforms; this could include responsibilities such as part number and pricing and lead time validation, ERP review, sales order review and processing, arranging and providing shipments.

Understand traceability requirements and FAA regulations as they relate to surplus, new and new surplus and overhauled parts.

Source parts through search engines such as ILS and other business relationships; update inventory and capabilities on all selling platforms.

Have a general understanding of shipping procedures including export compliance requirements.

Willingness to learn aerospace compliance for Quality and Control AS9120, ISO9001:2015.

Have strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure.

Be very professional both verbally and through email exchanges; work with cross‑functional team to problem‑solve.

Qualifications

Due to the criticality of your work, the applicant must have a strong accuracy for data entry and knowledge and understanding of work instructions, policies, and procedures.

Provide technical expertise to current and prospective customers.

Exceptional Microsoft Office proficiency.

Customer service skills to provide the best service in diverse situations.

Minimum of 2–5 years previous experience in system portals data entry; preferred in aerospace industry (Quantum Component Control).

Internal and external customer service experience.

Ability to multitask.

Demonstrated ability to identify process issues and drive process improvement.

Open‑minded self‑starter with the ability to adapt, improvise and problem‑solve.

Knowledge of current supply chain management, sales and inventory control principles an asset.

Demonstrated mastery of technical knowledge of aviation components.

Field of Study / Area of Experience

Bachelor’s degree and 2–5 years of experience in Inside Sales, Customer Service, Aerospace/Aviation After‑Market Sales, or a combination thereof.

Advanced degree in a related field and minimum 2 years of experience.
