Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm (plus 1 Saturday every Month)
Job Summary The Assisted Living / Memory Care Sales Counselor is responsible for guiding prospective residents and their families through the decision-making process for Assisted Living and Memory Care services. This role serves as a trusted advisor, presenting community services, amenities, and lifestyle benefits while supporting families in selecting the most appropriate living option for their loved one.
Essential Functions And Responsibilities
Systematically contact all assigned leads within the customer relationship management (CRM) database via telephone, email, mail, and in-person visits.
Maintain consistent follow-up with prospects and families, with an individual goal of approximately 20 outbound calls per day, adjusted as needed for tours and inbound inquiries.
Conduct personalized tours of the Assisted Living and Memory Care neighborhoods, explaining services, amenities, safety features, and lifestyle benefits.
Educate prospects and families on residency criteria, assessment processes, and the physical and financial qualifications for residency.
Demonstrate empathy and sensitivity when working with families navigating cognitive decline or changing support needs.
Assist prospects and families in selecting an appropriate apartment size and living option based on individual needs and preferences.
Provide clear, accurate information regarding pricing, services, and financial options to support informed and confident decision-making.
Facilitate move-in decisions by building trust and reinforcing the value, security, and quality of life offered by the community
Maintain ongoing contact with new residents and families after moving to ensure satisfaction and encourage future referrals.
Serve as a liaison between residents, families, and internal departments as needed during the transition period.
Sales counselor gathers all required resident information for move-in prior to contract execution, with approval from the Director of Sales and Marketing.
Represent the community at designated outreach events throughout the year, as directed by the Director of Sales and Marketing, to enhance visibility and brand awareness.
Collaborate with the Director of Sales & Marketing on semiannual promotional mailings to high-priority leads in the CRM system.
Other Duties
Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support sales, marketing, and community goals.
Other duties as assigned for the overall benefit of the organization
Working Conditions
Employees may be exposed to inclement weather conditions during tours.
Routinely works indoors in a well-lit, well-ventilated area.
Occasionally work outside during special functions
