
Lake Shore is seeking a motivated and hands on Golf Course Superintendent for immediate start prior to the 2026 season.
Candidate will be responsible for maintaining and managing the grounds of our 27-hole semi-private facility with approximately 100 members. Lake Shore has an 18-hole championship course and includes Shore Acres, a 9-hole executive course.
NOTE: Shore Acres 9-hole executive is currently on the market and may be sold at the end of 2026. Upon sale, responsibilities will shift solely to maintaining Lake Shore’s 18-hole championship course and grounds.
Responsibilities
Oversees the daily grounds maintenance, including mowing, watering, and fertilizing, as well as managing landscaping and irrigation systems.
Planning, organizing, and directing maintenance personnel in all areas of work on the golf course.
Procuring and managing all supplies and materials that are used in the daily operation of the golf course.
Must be certified and/or licensed for pesticide usage.
Knowledge of irrigation including watering practices, irrigation systems, pumps, wells and automatic controls / drainage.
Skills in maintaining equipment used in groundskeeping operations.
Train staff on safe operation of golf course equipment and daily care of equipment.
Managing golf course employees including interviewing, hiring and training.
Working and communicating daily with the Golf Professional to address any areas of concern and ensure needs of the course are met.
Control and reduce expenses as necessary. Perform all other duties as assigned.
