Mailchimp Newsletter Builder (Part-Time Contractor, Per-Newsletter Pay) We’re looking for a detail-oriented Mailchimp expert to take content we provide (copy, links, and simple layout direction) and build polished, mobile-friendly newsletters in Mailchimp using our existing templates.
What you’ll do
Build newsletters in Mailchimp using established templates and provided content packages
Format text cleanly with strong hierarchy, spacing, and consistent styling
Insert and size images, buttons, and links appropriately
Run QA before delivery (link checks, mobile preview, test sends, basic accessibility checks)
Incorporate edits efficiently and keep versioning organized
Maintain template consistency and flag opportunities to improve reusable modules
Requirements
3+ years of hands‑on experience building newsletters in Mailchimp (required)
Strong attention to detail and a proven ability to QA emails thoroughly
Comfort working quickly with deadlines and incorporating feedback
Solid visual judgment and familiarity with email formatting best practices
Nice to have
Experience with Mailchimp tags/segments and simple audience targeting
Basic image editing/resizing skills (Canva is fine)
Experience standardizing or improving templates and reusable content blocks
Compensation
$175 per newsletter (built in Mailchimp using existing templates)
Additional work beyond standard builds (e.g., significant template changes or complex segmentation setup) can be scoped separately if needed
