Job Description: The
Embedded Senior Account Executive
will lead sales within the Automotive vertical, responsible for a $3M territory focused on mission‑critical vehicle programs.
Manage a significant inherited book of business (renewals) while aggressively mapping out "whitespace" within top OEMs and Global Tier‑1 suppliers.
Pivot from a referral‑based model to a proactive, direct‑to‑market strategy, identifying and winning next‑generation vehicle programs 2‑3 years before they hit the road.
Navigate complex, "invisible" software sales where the value is proven through data reliability and risk mitigation rather than a visual UI.
Partner with Sales Engineers to lead deep technical evaluations and Proof of Concepts (POCs) with VPs of Engineering and R&D Leads.
Requirements:
5‑10 years of B2B Software Sales experience, with at least 3+ years selling complex software (e.g., Cybersecurity, DevSecOps, RTOS, or Middleware).
Industry Expertise : Deep experience selling into OEMs and Tier‑1s
Strong technical aptitude and ability to hold high-level technical conversations with engineers regarding data architecture and system integrity.
Location This is a remote opportunity where candidates must be in one of the following states: Washington, California, Texas, or Massachusetts. Travel to customers 25‑35%.
