Content Manager III - Remote Summary This role supports high-visibility internal publishing and engagement initiatives for a large, global retail and marketing organization. The Content Manager III ensures on-time delivery of customer- and employee-facing assets while upholding rigorous brand, quality, and accessibility standards. This position plays a critical role in managing complex content ecosystems and audience targeting across multiple internal platforms.

Our Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate brings 5-7 years of experience managing content at a global or enterprise scale and has a strong passion for content operations, audience targeting, and optimization in fast-paced environments.

They are proficient in content management systems and audience management tools, with solid project and process management skills, and are familiar with technical design, development, and UAT cycles. This individual collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams including marketing, creative, production, localization, and technical partners.

They are able to work independently, manage ambiguity, and juggle multiple priorities with competing deadlines while remaining flexible and adaptable to changing timelines and high-visibility launches. Strong written and verbal communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, and an analytical, proactive, solutions-oriented mindset are essential.

Job Description In this role, you will manage content delivery and audience configuration for internal engagement and publishing platforms. You will partner closely with program managers, producers, creatives, localization teams, technical partners, and external production agencies to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely launches.

You will serve as a subject matter expert for audience management processes, owning day-to-day execution, optimization, documentation, and training. This includes coordinating timelines, managing handoffs, validating milestones from launch through takedown, and ensuring consistency across platforms and regions.

You will proactively identify process improvements, anticipate risks, and resolve audience-related issues in partnership with technical teams. Post-launch, you will participate in analysis to identify learnings and continuously improve future execution.

Education and Experience

A bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience is required.

Candidates should have a background in content management, digital publishing, marketing operations, or related disciplines, along with experience managing multilingual and multi-region content. Familiarity with HTML, XML, and CSS is expected, and library science experience is a plus.

Additional Requirements

This opportunity is fully remote, and candidates must be able to work PST hours.

The pay for this W-2 position is $60.39 per hour.

This position may be eligible for PTO, health and dental insurance, and/or 401(k) benefits upon meeting certain length-of-service and hours requirements.
