The Creative Strategist will lead the ideation, analysis, and execution of high-performing direct-response creative across Google, YouTube, and social platforms. This role combines creativity with analytics—turning data insights into winning concepts, videos, storyboards, and scalable ad assets. The ideal candidate is an independent thinker who can also collaborate effectively within a fast-paced, performance-focused team.

Key Responsibilities

Develop breakthrough ad concepts, ideas, and angles tailored for direct-response performance.

Create structured

storyboards , scripts, and creative briefs to guide editors and production teams.

Maintain a consistent pipeline of new creative variations, concepts, and video assets.

Reverse-engineer top-performing creatives to identify winning attributes such as hooks, pacing, structure, messaging, and visual elements.

Data Analysis & Insights

Analyze creative performance data to understand which elements drive results and why.

Identify patterns across winning ads and translate insights into repeatable creative formulas.

Run creative audits, identify bottlenecks, and propose data-backed recommendations to improve CPA, CTR, and conversion metrics.

Use data dashboards, platform analytics, and testing tools to refine creative decisions.

Produce creative specifically tuned for

direct-response advertising at scale .

Craft angles, hooks, and messaging frameworks that convert cold audiences on Google and YouTube.

Ensure all creative aligns with DTC, e-commerce, and performance marketing best practices.

Work closely with media buyers, editors, designers, and the funnel team to ensure unified campaign execution.

Communicate clearly with production teams to ensure creative concepts are executed properly.

Participate in creative testing processes, ideation workshops, and weekly performance reviews.

Serve as a creative leader who can guide others while remaining self-driven and independently resourceful.

Qualifications

Demonstrated track record generating high-performing direct-response creative (video ads preferred).

Strong understanding of

Google Ads and YouTube Ads

creative best practices.

Ability to analyze performance metrics and use them to inform creative strategy.

Skilled at breaking down winning creatives and extracting common winning attributes.

Experience developing storyboards, ad scripts, and performance-oriented creative briefs.

Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills.

A highly creative problem-solver with a data-first mindset.
