The Opportunity The Coca‑Cola Corrugated Account Manager’s primary responsibility is to lead and support the growth and sustained performance of Smurfit Westrock corrugated at the individual Coca‑Cola Bottling facilities. This individual will focus on the growth of new business and sustaining current and business for Coca‑Cola North America.
How You Will Impact Smurfit Westrock
Work in partnership with local Smurfit Westrock Corrugated plants and Coca‑Cola Bottling Plants to ensure outstanding performance for both parties
Build and foster solid relationships at the Coca‑Cola Bottling facilities
Drive account for P&L and overall cost to serve, ensuring profitable growth over the long term. Understand the profitability of the individual locations and the overall corrugated segment as appropriate
Serve as the primary point of contact internally for the customer, coordinating the engagement of internal experts, and resources to deliver innovative solutions and performance improvement
Manage contractual relationships and assist with negotiating multi‑year contracts with valuable input from local bottlers as required
Identify pricing dynamics and contract constraints within accounts to inform WestRock commercial decisions
Communicate account performance to WestRock leadership team, Region and Business Unit leaders
Lead as required TSM’s and BRM’s with a strong account plan for strategic direction
Securing quotes for new items
Forecasting (internal and external)
CADs / Print Cards / Graphics discussion on art requirements
Securing graphics requirements from applicable plants
Coordinate graphics with separator and WRK Graphics person at each plant
Ensure artwork posted to CCNA repository is sent to the appropriate plants
Responsible for development and maintenance database for drawings and print cards for all Coca‑Cola corrugate business
Coordinate with appropriate plants based on capabilities and equipment for new business
Handle DMR database for all plants
ensure timeline is followed
ensure documentation is appropriate for DMR processing
addition of RCCA according to timeline
ensure DPPM is measured and met
Ensure execution of price file
ensuring timely response and submission of monthly reports
Review activities with BRM’s
ensure adequate coverage
appropriate engagement with all plant levels
Schedule and conduct SRMs in each location and provide deck
Support/conduct quality training
Assist/develop cost savings initiatives with all plants and BRMs
Create recycling programs for OCC
Identify bottling plant efficiencies
Assist with “standardizing” dies, where possible
Develop Business Continuity Plan and updates
What You Need To Succeed
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred
Strongly prefer corrugated experience
Plant or Business unit functional Management leadership experience a plus
Track record of customer account growth and successful new sales quota achievement
Consultative solution selling experience
Known developer and experience in leading teams
Demonstrated ability to promote and use CRM data, tools and insights to drive results (preferably Salesforce.com)
Good computer and software skills (i.e., Microsoft teams, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
